Educator Workshop: María Magdalena Campos-Pons: Behold

During this workshop, educators will:

• Engage in a guided tour of María Magdalena Campos-Pons: Behold.
• Learn about María Magdalena Campos-Pons multimedia, sensorial artworks which are informed by her layered identity as a Cuban woman with ancestral roots in the Yoruba culture of West Africa, Spain, and China. María Magdalena Campos-Pons artwork explores the history of diaspora, displacement, and migration, as well as labor and race, and motherhood and spirituality.
• Take part in an art-making activity inspired by the exhibition.
• Participate in conversations and cross-curricular dialogue.
