We look forward to seeing you on your next visit to the Frist Art Museum. Please read and agree to the following guidelines prior to purchasing advance timed tickets.
Current Exhibitions:
I acknowledge the following guidelines and precautions put in place for the Frist Art Museum for visitors, staff, and volunteers. These measures are designed to create a safer environment in response to COVID-19.
- In compliance with Mayor Cooper’s Executive Order 7, requiring universal cloth face covering or mask wearing within government buildings (the Frist Art Museum occupies a structure leased from the Metropolitan Development and Housing Agency), appropriate protective face coverings will be required for all guests ages two and older who are able to safely wear them.
- All guests, staff, and volunteers will be screened for temperature with a no-contact thermometer upon entering the building. Each person’s temperature must be below 100.4°F in order to enter the building. If a member of a visitor group has a temperature of 100.4°F or more, the entire group must reschedule their visit. When weather permits, health screenings will take place outside of the building entrance.
- Tickets are non-refundable and are for one-time entry.
- If you or anyone in your group has experienced any of the following since securing your advance timed ticket(s), please call 615.744.3277 and ask to reschedule your visit.
In the last 14 days, you or anyone in your group has been in close contact with anyone with a confirmed case of COVID-19.

You or anyone in your group had a fever in the 48 hours prior to your visit.
You or anyone in your group has lost your sense of taste or smell.
You or anyone in your group has experienced vomiting or diarrhea in the 24 hours prior to your visit.
