William “Dooby” Tomkins is an artist and a preparator at the Frist Art Museum. His artistic interests lie in the postmodern practice of image appropriation. His collages reflect his fascination with mass media visuals and their re-juxtaposition when used to create new meanings and images. Come learn about Dooby’s art-making process, and make your own collage ahead of time to share!
