Teen ARTlab: Intro to Video Collage

Studio NPL mentor Seth joins us to talk about video collage and guide attendees through making their own. Editing is often called "the invisible art" in film because it can go unnoticed by the audience, but video collage is an art of editing and sampling. Seth will take attendees through some tools (for cutting, changing playback speed, shaping transitions, etc.) and some film theory to edit clips creatively.

Attendees will be provided with a pool of video clips and a list of free video editing software beforehand, and encouraged to edit along during the workshop.
