Join local jeweler Brooke Griffith, of Glen & Effie, for a closer look at the glitter and glam of ancient Rome. Tour the current exhibition Rome: City and Empire and head up to our studios to create your own Roman inspired necklace. Participants will receive a 4^th century Roman coin to incorporate into their design and learn how to string, arrange crystal and freshwater pearl beads on jewelry wire, crimp the strand of beads, use jump rings and attach a clasp in this workshop. All levels welcome. Materials and tools will be supplied.
