Teen ARTlab: Animation with Michael Lapinski
Art-making activity and Q&A
Zoom
For ages 13–19 only · Free · Registration required

Michael Lapinski is a Nashville-based animation art director and comic book creator. He has worked on shows such as Blue’s Clues and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, winning an Emmy Award for Sesame Street’s “Elmo the Musical” segment. He is also the co-creator and artist of Feeding Ground, a bilingual comic book series about the Mexico-Arizona border. Don’t miss this opportunity to make a basic flip book, learn about character design, and pick up key points on creating compelling animation.

Teen ARTlabs are part of the Frist Art Museum’s Art After Dark presentations, which include Drop-In Drawing and other activities. Visit FristArtMuseum.orgfor more information.
